I've struggled with My voice for so long, 

until I found the perfect vocal coach, 

He goes by the name Craig Derry and he 

is Amaaaazing!!!!...I've also started to 
allow myself to just let go, and stop 
holding back, I know its in me. I was 
always afraid of hitting the wrong notes, 
but you gotta get pass the rocky bridge 
before you reach that palace RIGHT?!
Anywho, I would LOVE for you guys

Ok now for the REAL reason of this post. We all know about the 
Tragedy in Haiti, or at least we should know.I just want to say that
I am very sadden to see whats going on over there, it saddens me 
even more that the media seems to look at this situation as a just 
covering a GREAT story. I saw a news clip on the internet showing 
a little girl trapped. As some guys try to get her out, the camera crew 
and the news anchor are actually sitting there watching them struggle 
while taping...WTF, Like hello!!! HELP them!...It also makes me upset 
that there isn't more help, and not from the Gov but from these stars 
and entertainers. People are so blind to think that the US government 
doesn't have the funds to take the whole damn country out of their 
horrible situation, before and after. So NOW everyone wants to offer 
"help" now that this has happened. If you look back at the history of 
Haiti, you will find that they've overcome the worst. They are  
intimidating to the other countries, and that it is why no other country
has stepped up and helped them out(before this disaster) 

instead they've put them in debt to them and hindered their progression. 
DON'T FORGET THEY WERE THE FIRST ONES FREE'D FROM SLAVERY. 
Basically what I'm trying to say is remember the struggle the people of 
Haiti encountered day-to-day before this tragic Unnatural disaster 
occurred. When we see that they aren't getting the help they should, 
it is time for you to open up your eyes. EDUCATE AND PREPARE.
EDUCATE yourself of the many things that are going on in the 
WORLD, keep in mind that NOTHING is impossible. 
And PREPARE for whats to come. Keep your mind open 
and positive. For Haiti and all those struggling, work at getting closer 
to our maker, and PRAY FOR A DIVINE INTERVENTION!!!

P.S The disaster in Haiti was more than just what it seems to be, 
A "Natural" Disaster. Guys I beg of you PLEASE do your research!

My Transitions!

So I haven’t had a perm since August of 2009(Going natural), which was also the last time I ate meat. Hasn’t been that long, but I am very proud of myself for not succumbing to the luring smell of fried chicken. I’ve been stronger than my own expectations, I just knew I was going to give in, especially because of the holidays, you know Thanksgiving and all? But I haven't, Yayy me. The food is good though, fried tofu is my fav! J Anywho, SO I never thought it would be harder going natural, than becoming a veggie. I just don’t know what to do with my hair, I’ve made a decision to just get weaves, and braids and things like that, but I don’t really like weave, and braids?...eh. I want to cut it also, but I don’t think I’d look right with short hair…ugh I. Just. Don’t. Know! I think I just might give in to a perm. The only thing that’s motivating me right now is that I could tell how the pattern of my waves will be once my natural hair is all grown out, and I love it!

Which brings me to this; BLACK PEOPLE! 7 out of 10 of us naturally have the type of hair that we all dream to have. The hair that can curl when wet, and be straight when blow dryed, the hair that we spend hundreds on to buy...Anywho with that said, when or if you have a daughter, do not perm her hair at the age of   5(mother!), or any age before the age of 15. Let them make their own decision, because most likely they will love their long thick curly locks when they get older. I think my next blog should be about this. BTW check out my step-moms blog @ http://thickncurly.blogspot.com/ talks about natural hair and what not, she's a mean natural hair stylist and she's hilarious!

Love without Pain…Possible?

First off Happy New Years!!!...K someone asked me this question, and i wanted to blog about it
Is it possible to be in love and not feel pain?...

       It is definitely not possible to fall in love with out enduring pain. When you're in love with another, along comes worry and concern for their well-being as well as concern for your self and your future with that person. When that loved one isn’t doing right, or right by you rather, its human nature to react on that. Whether it shows through arguing or building a wall, at the end it all causes pain. The amount of Pain you endure is an indication of how much you love that person. Pain makes the love real. On the flipside if you are in a relationship with someone and you could give a rats a** about what they do, then 9xs out of 10 its because you don’t love them. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that if you endure pain, that its ok, its not. I mean no relationship is a smooth sail, but when you’re hurting so much that it takes away from your happiness, its time for you to question how strong the love is on the other end and move on. Love causes pain, but it shouldn’t keep you unhappy. There is no perfect love. The perfect love comes with pain.
